Bodybuilding.com Airs the First-Ever Free Live Webcast of Joe Weider's 2007 Mr. Olympia
Joe Weider's 2007 Muscletech Mr. Olympia takes place this weekend, Friday Sept. 27th and Saturday Sept. 28th, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Orleans Resort Arena. For the first time ever, all of the competitions in their entirety will be presented free via a live webcast by Bodybuilding.com, the presenting sponsor of this weekend's competitions.
(PRWEB) September 25, 2007 -- Joe Weider's 2007 Muscletech Mr. Olympia takes place this weekend, Friday Sept. 27th and Saturday Sept. 28th, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Orleans Resort Arena. The event that started Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie and political career will be available for the first time, free, via a live webcast by Bodybuilding.com, the presenting sponsor of this weekend's competitions.
They will be showcasing all of the Mr. Olympia weekend competitions: Mr. Olympia, Ms. Olympia, and Fitness and Figure Olympia. The best IFBB athletes will be competing for the biggest title in bodybuilding live at Bodybuilding.com, the Internet's most visited bodybuilding and fitness site and largest retailer of nutritional supplements.
"The competition between last year's winner Jay Cutler and eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman has people in the sport excited about this year's event," says Bodybuilding.com CEO, Ryan DeLuca. "We're pleased that our partnership with Weider Publications allows us to webcast it free for bodybuilding and fitness fans around the world."
Both pre-judging and finals of all competitions will be broadcast live, starting with women's pre-judging Friday at 11:00 am. Men's pre-judging and finals begin both nights with pre-show interviews at 6:30 pm, followed by contests at 7:00 pm.
The Mr. Olympia Weekend Expo includes booths from over 200 vendors and features power-lifting and martial arts, as well as appearances by many athletes featured in Flex, Muscle & Fitness and Shape magazines. Over 25,000 visitors attended the event last year.
