GoalsTogether.com today announced the launch of a new web site devoted to sharing and achieving goals. The free site allows members to post goals for others to view, then selectively allows people to join in, creating a network of friends that can reach goals together.
"I found that my close friends didn't want to do some of the things I want to do - especially the big things," said Mark Roberts, founder of GoalsToghether.com. "To reach some of the goals that I've achieved, like sailing across the Atlantic Ocean or hiking in Spain, I've had to start alone."
"I created GoalsTogether.com to give people a place to list their big dreams that they want to achieve, and invite others to join them. By joining up with other people that share your dreams, you can move forward together. There really is power in numbers," said Roberts.
GoalsTogether.com is not a 'to-do' list or a productivity application. It's an online community that allows you to develop a network of friends that will help and encourage you to reach your goals. Site members can post goals for others to see and can request to join goals that are the same or similar to theirs.
Anyone can view the public goals on the site. Only members can request to join other member's goals. But users of the site don't need to have the same goals to participate - you can also give motivation, encouragement, or share resources and information.
GoalsTogether.com is secure because messages are passed via a Message Board, instead of by email. You have complete control over your goals - who can view it, who can join it, and how they participate.
GoalsTogether.com allows you to post and share goals with a community of people that see life like you do. Create a network of friends who want to accomplish similar goals. Membership is free.
