Fitness by Phone: Enrollment Open for Innovative Fitness Mentoring Program with Proven Results

Fitness Trainer opens up enrollment for a 10 week, 25-seat fitness class - by phone.

Mount Jackson, VA (PRWEB) September 27, 2007 -- In an age of obsessive dieting, fitness and exercise programs by phone might be just the cure for creating lifelong healthy habits.

Lifestyle fitness coach and author of "Self Care Before Sit-Ups", Amy Lundberg's innovative approach might seem backwards to many, because she focuses on building an inner foundation with her clients to support their physical fitness program before she begins to add on the exercise component.

Lundberg's classes are strictly limited in order to provide enough personal attention to each student. "Most people want a cookie cutter approach, " says Lundberg about diet and exercise programs. "People never consider the link between nurturing their inner-spirit and maintaining a fit, healthy body."

Lundberg says most exercise programs fail and most diets don't work because we don't take time to build a healthy inner foundation first, before we begin a diet or hit the gym. It's not about how effective the diet or the exercise is, it's about self-sabotage.

Women seem to be the most susceptible to not giving themselves 'self care' time. Lundberg claims, "As women, we're such nurturers of others, we do, do, do, until we're completely worn out."

Lundberg had one client who she coached for four months before the woman was ready to exercise. She was a single-mother who owned her own business. She was overweight and was so tired and depleted that she ended up in the hospital before she realized she had to change something.

Lundberg believed this client needed to build a sturdy inner-foundation or she might never be able to maintain a long-term fitness program. After four months of working on her inner-fitness, the woman woke up one day and got on her treadmill. Now she's dropped two dress sizes and she exercises every day. "She needed to take time to nurture herself and recharge her batteries," Lundberg explains.

Since Lundberg puts handing out low-fat recipes and treadmill goals as a low priority, she claims that the classes by phone are freeing, rather than limiting. Sessions are recorded and available online so students can come back and review as much as they need to.

The introductory call for the class begins on Friday, September 28th. More information such as satisfaction guarantee and testimonials about "Self Care Before Sit Ups 10-Week Intensive" are available at http://www.aimforfitness.com/pdf/septcourse.pdf
