In this position David will be responsible for working directly with existing clients on all aspects of their accounts and hotel websites. This includes hotel search engine optimization, search marketing and internet marketing initiatives as well as strategic internet marketing consultation for maximizing opportunities for working with the top online travel sites, Expedia, Hotels.com, Orbitz and Travelocity.

Prior to joining Standing Dog, David held several positions with Travelocity.com (www.travelocity.com). While at Travelocity, David preformed the duties of Hotel Destination /Market Manager and was responsible for management and marketing of the hotel product in assigned regions and areas, managing hotel inventory, rate, pricing and merchandising. David's duties included ownership and accountability for overall region(s) transaction performance and contribution to Hotel P & L, which included total bookings, sales and revenue targets. He worked with the initial launch of the Merchant Model Hotel program after the break off of Hotels.com. During his tenure at Travelocity, David oversaw the hotel product for Mexico, the Caribbean, the mountain states (including the ski product), the South East region as well as Travelocity's push into the Europe, Africa and the Middle East Market place.

Prior to Travelocity David was a General Manager at La Quinta Inns Inc. David comes to Standing Dog with a strong knowledge of the hotel industry and the ability to look outside the box when determining the best way to market the travel industry in the online environment.
