Digitope Corporation has announced Picture Converter 1.1, the newest version of the digital photo resizing and conversion utility. Picture Converter saves time by working with groups of photos at once and is powerful enough for complex tasks while remaining easy and efficient to use.

Photos can be converted between all popular formats, including BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG and PSD, making it simple to use photos between applications.

Picture Converter offers excellent resizing capabilities. Pictures can be cropped, stretched, fit-to-size, or letterboxed while enlarging or reducing the dimensions by pixels or percent.

Complex tasks are easily automated thanks to Picture Converter's powerful scripting support. For example, Picture Converter can take a photo, convert it to JPEG, shrink it to thumbnail size and overlay a magnifying glass icon, all at once.

The useful Folder Preset tool creates one-click links for converting an entire folder of photos without even opening the application.

Picture Converter 1.1 is available worldwide now from http://www.digitope.com and costs USD $30, GBP £16 and EUR €24. A free 15-day trial version is available for download.
