This is the dream property to tailor-make a comfortable and discreet stay -- from the private ‘backstage entrance’ to the Green Room for meeting and greeting VIPs, this hotel is going to WOW every guest. I’m so proud and excited to be a part of the team here.

Hard Rock Hotel San Diego (HRHSD) announced today it has hired Lisa Hollenberg as the Entertainment Sales Manager for the property. Hollenberg will oversee the entertainment industry bookings, as well as negotiate preferred corporate travel agreements and international groups. With over two decades of personal and professional experience in the tourism and entertainment hospitality industries, Hollenberg will bring leadership, passion and her signature brand of humor to Hard Rock Hotel San Diego’s sales team.

Hollenberg’s hospitality experience has spanned the globe. Beginning with working holidays in France and Australia in her early professional life, Hollenberg returned to her native Vancouver where she became the Supervisor at the Pacific Palisades Hotel’s exclusive restaurant and lounge. She soon transitioned into the role of Chief Concierge for six years and joined the prestigious Les Clefs d’Or. At this key hotel in the thriving Vancouver film community, Hollenberg established entertainment contacts that led to her appointment as Film and Entertainment Sales Manager for the Pacific Palisades Hotel under the new ownership of Kimpton Hotels. In 2005, Hollenberg became an integral member of the opening team of Kimpton’s Hotel Solamar in San Diego and was responsible for all entertainment and celebrity guest bookings, film studio press junkets and private celebrity events, with talent ranging from: Justin Timberlake to Samuel Jackson, Clive Owen to Jack Black and Katie Couric to Maroon 5.

“I think that there is no other hotel better suited to the specific requirements of the Entertainment and Production Industry than the new Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego,“ says Hollenberg. “This is the dream property to tailor-make a comfortable and discreet stay -- from the private ‘backstage entrance’ to the Green Room for meeting and greeting VIPs, this hotel is going to WOW every guest. I’m so proud and excited to be a part of the team here.”
