President and Founder Roni Deutch thanked employees and celebrated the end of 2006 and exciting visions for 2007.
On Friday January 19, 2007, the employees of Roni Lynn Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation boarded the Delta King, located on the Sacramento River in Old Town Sacramento, to celebrate sixteen years in the tax law industry. It was the company's annual holiday awards luncheon, where Roni Deutch spoke on the past and future of the company and honored outstanding team members.
In her keynote address, Roni Deutch spoke on the importance of vision and the power of thought as she declared the company's goals for the next year. "Think differently and you will feel differently," she said as she explained the importance of focusing on goals. During her speech, she spoke about founding the company, and how having a vision enabled her to expand her small local practice into a national law firm.
Over the past year, the company passed several exciting milestones, including the opening of the company's website, and the debut of Roni Deutch Tax Center. The Roni Lynn Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation website launched on February 23, 2006 and now accounts for about forty percent of the firm's business. The Roni Deutch Tax Center is a new business founded by Roni Deutch in 2006 that focuses on preparing tax returns over the telephone. The first Roni Deutch Tax Center opened in October 2006, and has already prepared over 1700 tax returns.
In keeping with the ongoing tone on the power of thinking, Roni next spoke on how important it is to be grateful and that she is appreciative of the firm's outstanding employees. She gave special recognition to Russell Deutch with an award for being the first employee in the company to achieve ten years of service. Roni then acknowledged twelve exceptional employees for their performance over the past year, and selected them as the new All-Star team.
