Four Instantis Clients Honored as Global Six Award Finalists: Cigna, Hexion, Lonmin and Providence Health & Services

Companies recognized for outstanding organizational achievements through the application of Six Sigma methodologies.

Instantis, the number one provider of software for managing top-down performance improvement initiatives, announced today that four of its long-standing clients and users of the EnterpriseTrackā„¢ project portfolio management system for Lean Six Sigma, have been selected as 2007 Global Six Sigma Award finalists. The companies, which include Cigna, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., Lonmin Plc and Providence Health & Services, were recognized for their outstanding organizational achievements through the application of Six Sigma methodologies.

Cigna's vice president in charge of business excellence, Leslie Behnke, is a finalist for the Six Sigma VP of the Year Award which honors the person who has delivered the most outstanding results for their organization through the successful deployment of Six Sigma. Cigna CEO, Ed Hanway was presented with the WCBF Lean Six Sigma CEO of the Year Award by Instantis CEO, Prasad Raje in April 2007.

Providence Health & Services is a finalist in the "Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare" category, and Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. and Lonmin Plc are finalists in the "Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare" category.

The focus of this elite awards program is to demonstrate to the global business community the real results and excellence which organizations achieve through the successful implementation of Six Sigma. The Global Six Sigma Awards are judged by an independent panel of esteemed Six Sigma experts and practitioners. The winners for all categories will be announced at The WCBF Global Six Sigma Awards & Summit Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 24, 2007.
