AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union today announced that its Virtual Branch website, aftrasagfcu.org, has earned the "Standard of Excellence" in the 2007 WebAward competition sponsored by the Web Marketing Association.
Judged on seven different criteria, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and use of technology, more than 2,400 sites from 40 countries entered the eleventh annual WebAward competition in hopes of being recognized as the best among Internet standard and peer sites within their industry.

"Our members are professional performers, journalists and behind-the-scenes crew in television and film who work irregular hours, often in remote locations, and the Virtual Branch website was created to deliver superior member service with site features that members find helpful and easy to use. And though we provided the vision of what our site should be, I want to also recognize the design partners at TravelCLICK who made our ideas a reality."
