Leadership development and PR expertise adds new dimension to hybrid agency.

San Francisco (PRWEB) October 1, 2007 -- Bonfire Communications, an organizational communications agency specializing in employee engagement and strategy implementation, announced that Catherine Goerz has joined the company as a campaign manager in the San Francisco office.

Goerz brings more than eight years of marketing communications, leadership development and public relations experience to the role. Most recently, Goerz worked as a senior consultant with Axialent, a global consulting firm whose mission is to help organizations align culture and behaviors with business strategy. In this role, she helped individuals recognize their core values and express them skillfully at work.

She also led the firm's professional development program and coordinated workshops to build public relations skills and improve managerial effectiveness. Throughout her public relations career with Burson-Marsteller, Golin/Harris International and Euro RSCG, Goerz designed and delivered communication campaigns for a wide range of global clients including The Economist, Skype, SAP, Hewlett-Packard and SRI International.

"Cathy is a dynamic communicator and brings a wide range of experience to her new role," said Gordon Rudow, chief executive of Bonfire Communications. "Her group facilitation and leadership development skills are valuable additions to our team capabilities. We are thrilled to attract this kind of passionate, forward-thinking talent to Bonfire."

Goerz has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University and a Master of Arts in Speech Communication from Colorado State University.
