The Power Financial Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of a new API (application programming interface) that makes the PowerOptions suite of tools available to partners. Through use of the API, any web site or trading application can offer tools to find, research, and manage equity and index options trades like the poweropt.com web site.

According to Ernie Zerenner, President of PowerOptions, "We are very excited to make this tool set available to the industry. Our tools are unique and powerful, they have been the industry standard for the last 10 years, we are proud to make them available in this new format so that our industry partners can better serve their self-directed investor customers."

With the PowerOptions API, any web site or application can host their own branded front-end user interface for the research tools while the back end functionality is provided by PowerOptions. The API includes all of the programming functions needed to build interactive tools that search for trades and return trade data. API partners can program their own user-interfaces for each tool or enlist the programming expertise of the Power Financial Group, Inc. to program for them, creating a truly turnkey solution.

Zerenner continued, "Of course all of these tools and more have been available on our subscription web site, http://www.poweropt.com/, but this API allows other web sites to offer these tools to their customers under their own brand and programming control. There are many web sites currently servicing the investing public, like online brokers, investing research portals, and trading newsletter services. All of these services can benefit from offering these research tools to their customers. These tools are indispensable for individual traders, professional traders, and portfolio managers alike."

The API offers our partners the ability to track user-level and/or company level tool usage. The tool set offers Pre-Defined Search Reports, Custom Searches with saved search criteria, Advanced Option Chains, Quick Find for Covered Calls, and access to Historical Option and Stock Data.

The SmartSearchXL technology is the backbone of the tool suite allowing users to search for option trades in any of 20 popular option-trading strategies. This technology is so innovative; 2 US patents have been awarded to protect it.

Partners wishing to engage in API development and discuss licensing coverage should contact Greg Zerenner, Vice President of the Power Financial Group, Inc. at 302-992-7971, during trading hours.
