eBIZ.mobility LTD, creator of the patent-pending OneTouch Online Purchasing TM service for digital content, announced today that it has been awarded an Identity Deployment of the Year Award (IDDY) for 2007 from the Liberty Alliance.

The Liberty Alliance, a worldwide group working to build a safer, more trustworthy Internet for businesses, governments and consumers, awarded the IDDY to eBIZ,mobility for its ground-breaking online payment processing service which allows consumers to charge digital downloads directly to an existing account at their phone company, bank, mobile operator or Internet service provider without compromising their personal information.

"The Liberty Alliance specifications for privacy and interoperability were critical in the conceptualization and development of our OneTouch Online Purchasing service," said Jeremy Kagan, eBIZ.mobility's CEO. "In basing our service on SAML 2.0 and interoperable Federation technologies we are putting into practice our vision for a safer, more private Internet, which protects everyone involved from credit-card-like identity theft or fraud."

As well as the ease-of-use and privacy-protection benefits for consumers, the OneTouch Online Purchasing service offers merchants the ability to accept payments without a credit card merchant account, with no country restrictions.

"We are delighted that the Liberty Alliance has chosen to recognize our pioneering work with identity management," said Kagan. "Standing in the spotlight as the creators of an online processing service designed specifically to safeguard identity management in the "open garden" model of Internet consumer use, we can be proud that our OneTouch Online Purchasing model is setting new standards for privacy protection online."
