"11th Annual Desert Thunder" A Motorcycle Rally and Pre '72 Car Show Fundraiser Benefiting Children's Charities in Southern California and Southern Nevada
11th Annual Desert Thunder (DT-11) - "A Children's Charity" fund-raising Motorcycle Rally and Pre '72 Car Show event hosted by Buffalo Bills Hotel and Casino in Primm, Nevada on October 12th and 13th, 2007. The event has taken place since 1997 and has distributed over $275,000.00 to very worthy children's programs in Southern California and Southern Nevada. Last year's event drew more than 2500 participants.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 3, 2007 -- Actor/Voiceover Actor Michael Gregory, as Master of Ceremony, best known as "Dr. Rick Webber - General Hospital", "Robo Cop", "Eraser", "Beverly Hills Cop" and actor Perry King best known from "Rip Tide", "Spin City" & "Melrose Place", and actor/director Kenn Scott known well known as "Raphael-Teenage Ninja Turtle", "Showdown", "Sworn to Justice" and much, much more.
This year's event kicks off with an evening of entertainment on Friday, October 12th, from 5PM to 9PM with a live outdoor concert featuring the "Bluzmen" formally known as "The Blues Brothers", the amazing blues/rock band "Four Shadows Fall", and classic rock from "The Tornadoes". Admission is $10 per person for Friday night concert for those not registered. Saturday, October 13th Kicks-off with A Poker Run thru Las Vegas, A Classic Pre '72 Car Show and featured Motorcycles of all types. Best Bike, Bike Games, Vendors and Entertainment with more music from the bands that include the "Bluzmen", "Four Shadows Fall" and the "Tornadoes". A Silent Auction featuring a Gibson Guitar signed by, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ray Price & Ray Benson, True Religion Jeans, Guilty Brands, Hardcore Watches and more. Food includes a sumptuous Mexican Buffet. Plus, Raffle Prizes and a grand Prize of a Hawaiian Vacation for two (2). Rhino Off-Road Vehicles will have a RTV - Rough Terrain Vehicle on display with possible demos. BRP will have their new 3 wheeled Spyder at the event - not to mention the exciting Casino.
