Relish Culinary School Releases Fall/Holiday 2007 Schedule of Events

Relish Culinary School's Fall/Holiday 2007 schedule contains a variety of culinary classes and events through December 2007. Events feature prominent chefs, cookbook authors and restaurateurs leading lunch and dinner events at a variety of scenic and engaging wine country locations in Sonoma County. Fall/Holiday events include food and wine events at wineries, plus holiday events for adults and children.

Healdsburg, CA (PRWEB) October 4, 2007 -- Relish Culinary School announces the release of its Fall/Holiday 2007 Schedule of Classes for October through December. Relish stands out as the only "roving" culinary program that brings together talented chefs and fabulous cuisine at a variety of captivating wine country locations to create one-of-a-kind hands-on and demonstration cooking experiences.

The Fall/Holiday 2007 schedule contains a variety of cooking classes and events, from al fresco lunches to wine cave dinners, wine classes to holiday events for kids and families, all lead by an array of talented local chef-instructors, cookbook authors and restaurateurs.

Examples of events include:

 
  • Bruce Aidells, founder of Aidells Sausage Company, cookbook author and renowned meat expert, will lead a discussion about pork cooking techniques, including paté, confit, brining and roasting, at the Al Fresco Kitchen at Lambert Bridge Winery on Saturday, October 13. The event includes a four-course lunch with wine prepared by local chef and restaurateur Jeff Mall of ZIN Restaurant in Healdsburg and each guest receives a copy of Aidells' Complete Book of Pork cookbook.
  • On Saturday, November 3, Relish returns to Lambert Bridge Winery for a discussion and tasting with chocolate and confectionery visionary Michael Recchiuti from Recchiuti Confections in the San Francisco Ferry Building. Guests will enjoy the ambiance of the winery's redwood barrel room as they learn about chocolate-making and taste decadent desserts paired with wine. Each guest will receive a copy of Chocolate Obsession: Confections and Treats to Create and Savor.
  • Also in November, a winery cave dinner and cooking demonstration at Bella Winery featuring chefs Jeff Mall of ZIN Restaurant in Healdsburg and Josh Silvers of Syrah Bistro in Santa Rosa. Later in the month, celebrity chef John Ash shares recipes for an intimate Winter Dinner with Friends at Michel-Schlumberger Winery where guests will enjoy a seasonal dinner paired with Michel-Schlumberger wines. Also in November, wine expert Tom Simoneau returns for a Tasting and Talking Wine class about Luxury Wines for the Holidays.

In December Relish turns its attention to holiday classes for adults, children and families.
