IRIS Distribution Kicks Off New Marketing Division -- BlinkerActive -- with Scion Campaign

Leading independent digital music distributor expands its services with the launch of a new consumer marketing division, called BlinkerActive.

IRIS Distribution, the leading digital music marketing and distribution company, is pleased to announce the launch of a new in-house consumer marketing division, called BlinkerActive, whose initial client will be Scion, a marque of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. Scion will be releasing a series of exclusive remixes beginning October 30 for which IRIS is also the exclusive digital distributor.

The range of services provided by IRIS to Scion and others will encompass promotion and marketing to a wide variety of outlets, including online media, radio, social networks, lifestyle destinations, music discovery sites, mobile carriers, podcasters, and bloggers worldwide. Scion features will appear on iTunes, Zune, Rhapsody, Urge and Beatport. For the first time, IRIS will be offering marketing services to clients outside of their distribution partnerships.
