Amentra Awarded Enterprise BPM Contract by the United States Mint

Amentra to use signature mentoring methodology at US Mint.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) October 4, 2007 -- Amentra, an industry leading business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has won an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, single-award contract from the United States Mint (US Mint) in Washington, DC. The contract has a one-year base period and three one-year options.

Under the contract, Amentra will provide the Business Process Management (BPM) and related consulting services required to successfully evaluate, design, implement, verify and maintain an enterprise BPM program. The completed effort aims to enable an ongoing means to link and align Business and Information Technology across the US Mint. Amentra has been engaged to not only transform the US Mint's business but also its people using its signature mentoring methodology.

Amentra was also awarded its first task order under the contract, a Business Process Management (BPM) proof of concept that will focus on the Office of Brand Management within the Office of Sales and Marketing (SaM). The proof of concept will include tool and platform assessment, BPM lifecycle management, as-is and to-be process mapping, simulation, optimization, governance, metrics, reporting and mentoring. BPM will be employed to decrease the time to market for numismatic coins for the US Mint. The implementation of an industry-standard BPM suite will enhance the internal US Mint capabilities of process analysis, automation and collaboration.
