European Shippers to Decide who the Best 3PLs Are

Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) October 5, 2007 -- eyefortransport are pleased to announce the launch of the 'Best European 3PL Awards', which will see shippers throughout Europe decide which companies offer the best 3PL services in their industry.

Shippers are being invited to vote for their favourite 3PL in 7 different categories: Automotive (sponsored by Flanders Investment & Trade), Industrial (sponsored by Infor), Consumer Goods, Fresh Food, Pharma/Chemical/HazMat, Hi-Tech/Electronics and Retail (sponsored by ProLogis).

Votes can be cast online at www.eyefortransport.com/eu3pl/awards.shtml until October 20 when the top three 3PLs with the most votes will be announced and short-listed -- the voting will then re-open for the short-listed candidates.

The winners will be unveiled at a glittering gala dinner on November 5th at the 'Centre for Comic Strip Art' in Brussels. A special award will also be given at the dinner to John Allan, the outgoing CEO of DHL Logistics and the new CFO of DPWN to recognise his immense influence on the European 3PL industry.
