Inexpensive real estate and precious metals top the list of NuWire's 2007 Best Investments Under $25,000.

NuWire Investor, an online financial news publication, recently published its rankings of the Top 10 Investments Under $25,000 for 2007.

NuWire considered only alternative investments rather than traditional investments such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

Investments were selected with today's volatile marketplace in mind; factors such as stability, predictability, cash flow, diversification and protection against devaluation of the U.S. dollar were emphasized more heavily in NuWire's analysis than speculative factors such as long-term appreciation and capital gain.

The Top 10 Investments Under $25,000 are:

1. Single family or multi-family property
2. Gold and silver
3. Foreclosure properties
4. Mobile homes
5. Fractional ownership of timber
6. Loans
7. Partner investments on larger projects
8. Japanese yen
9. Business or franchise
10. Vacant land (domestic or foreign)
