Iverson Language Associates, Inc. will be among several corporate sponsors in attendance when the Dalai Lama, Tibet's exiled leader, is presented with the Congressional Gold Medal, the nation's highest civilian honor. This award, which will be presented in Washington D.C. on October 18, 2007, recognizes the Dalai Lama's advocacy of religious harmony, non-violence, and human rights throughout the world.

"The mission and philosophy of the Dalai Lama is a model for how we should all work for peace in a modern society, and it is an honor to see him presented with this award," states Steve Iverson, President/CEO of Iverson Language Associates, Inc.

The 14th Dalai Lama fled into exile in 1959 when China invaded Tibet. Since that time, residing in India, he has worked to promote peace throughout the world, and to find a peaceful way for Tibet to regain its autonomy.
