TasteTV announces that its first Singles Chocolate Salons take place on October 19th in San Francisco and October 27th in Los Angeles. This event marks the launch of TasteTV's chocolate lifestyle brand, ChocolateTelevision.com (http://www.ChocolateTelevision.com). The launch includes Singles Chocolate Salons in cities nationwide. It also begins the broadcast of Chocolate Television on a major mobile cell phone carrier in November, and the upcoming publication of two new books, The Chocolate Guide: To Chocolatiers, Chocolate Makers, Boutiques, Patisseries and Shops (2008 Western and Eastern Editions).
The San Francisco Singles Chocolate Salon is a smaller and more intimate version of TasteTV's popular International Chocolate Salon, and features eight premium and artisan chocolatiers, five wine and beverage vendors, and a chocolate-themed fashion show. Participants include the Xocolate Bar, The TeaRoom chocolates, Charles Chocolates, Decadent Tastes, XOX Truffles, Sacred Chocolate, Rushburn Toffee, Cosmic Chocolate, Sol Rouge Winery, Quady Winery, Vermeer Dutch Chocolate Cream Liqueur, and Hansen Natural Soda's.
Chocolate Television is the only ongoing media brand dedicated 100% to the chocolate lifestyle. The program features chocolatier profiles, product reviews, interviews, tastings and wine pairings, events, and recipes. The Chocolate Guides are a standalone concept in food & lifestyle publishing.
