Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) October 9, 2007
Sterling Communications, a Portland-based provider of hosted business phone systems, has launched a promotion that will benefit local charities.
"We are a local company with strong community values," says Tom Gillihan, company president. "We want our company to be a blessing to this community. We are, of course, a successful, healthy business but we want to be known for more than that. You will find Sterling people active in non-profits both locally and overseas. I myself just returned from a trip to Rwanda with Africa New Life Ministries," reports Gillihan.
The company has been brainstorming ideas which would both help grow sales and help local non-profit organizations at the same time.
The result is a program where for every new business customer that signs-up for the SterlingVOICE™ phone system between now and the end of January 2008, and mentions the program, the company will donate the first month's service fee up to $1,000 to the local charity of their choice.
