Downing Events, a recognized provider of event management services has constructed the ice skating rink that will be used in the upcoming film, "NowhereLand," starring Eddie Murphy.

The outdoor ice skating rink at Belmar Shopping Center will be used for a scene in the Paramount film, "NowhereLand," starring Eddie Murphy. The creators of the rink, Downing Events, envisioned building a wonderful space where families could share many memorable moments. Their vision will now be played out on the big screen for hundreds of thousands of people across America thanks to Paramount Pictures. Murphy and his young co-star, Yara Shahidi, are filming scenes at the rink October 4 and 5.

"We have built ice skating rinks around Denver for years and know the magical moments they can create. The one at Belmar Center is no different," says Downing Events President, Pat Downing. "We're honored Paramount saw the magic that families experience at our rink and decided to capture it on film."

The ice skating rink will open for all to enjoy in mid-November.
