Aerospace & Defense Industry's First Annual National Supply Chain Awards set for November 6, 2007

The Supplier Excellence Alliance is holding its inaugural National Supply Chain Awards Dinner on November 6 at the Westin Resort in Rancho Mirage California. Events include an opening reception on November 5, a golf tournament on November 6, the Awards Dinner on November 6, and a SEA Member Conference on November 7.

The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) will hold its inaugural Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain National Awards Dinner at 6:00 pm on November 6, 2007 at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, California.

SEA is a non-profit industry alliance funded by prime and tier-one contractors and leading suppliers. Its purpose is to lead the aerospace and defense industry supply chain conversion.

The black tie-optional event, designed for supplier company owners and CEOs and their guests, will recognize the performance and leadership contributions of small- to mid-sized supplier companies. Supplier company executives will attend the Awards Dinner and executives from major prime and tier-one contractors.

Award categories include:

  •     SEA Leadership & Culture Award
  •     SEA Workforce Development Award
  •     SEA Operational Excellence Award
  •     SEA Performance Award: Most Improved
  •     SEA Supply Chain Innovation Award
  •     SEA Customer of the Year Award
  •     SEA Richard Hall Award for Leadership Excellence

A SEA Panel of Judges has reviewed over 100 Nominations. The Panel of Judges, composed of industry executives from supplier companies and prime and tier-one contractors, forwarded 45 Applications to the final stage. Winners will be announced at the SEA Awards ceremony.

A Golf Tournament will precede the Awards Dinner also on November 6, on the Westin's Pete Dye championship golf course. This will be an opportunity for tournament participants to enjoy golf with peers and customers. A SEA Member Conference, open to both SEA members and non-members, offers an important industry educational forum. The Member Conference will take place on November 7, also at the Westin Mission Hills Resort.
