Rising Australian Artist Launches Caku Art Online Gallery

Caku Art is a new online Australian art gallery open for viewing to any individual or art collector looking for Australian modern contemporary, abstract and figurative art on the Internet.

Adelaide, Australia (PRWEB) October 9, 2007 -- Caku Art is a new online Australian art gallery open for viewing to any individual or art collector looking for Australian modern contemporary, abstract and figurative art on the Internet.

On arriving at the Caku Art site, gallery visitors are greeted with a refreshing statement which appropriately sums up the artists attitude towards his work and the art world in general. Although the artist admits to being the predominant drive behind the rising success of Caku Art, he remains somewhat modest and ultimately prefers the idea of more emphasis being focused on the work available for viewing.

"I came up with Caku Art as a way of giving my work its own identity as apposed to solely focusing the attention on me as the artist," explains Carl, Caku Art's site owner and primary artist. "Some artists would perhaps consider this to be a backwards step when it comes to branding yourself in the world of art, as the whole concept is centred around the painting instead of the painter. The ironic thing is that the result to this branding-the-work attitude more so than the artist has been quite successful".

The Caku Art online gallery is by no means difficult to explore and provides a very user-friendly presentation in its overall site structure. Visitors are free to explore the gallery depicting various works in contemporary, abstract, figurative and landscape/cityscape categories.

The site includes the gallery, the artist's page highlighting Carl's (Caku Art Artist) artistic profile and life adventures; and a blog, which features regular updates, videos and recent works available for viewing. Visitors to the Caku Art site are also presented with the opportunity to receive a free ebook if they choose to sign up for the Caku Art newsletter. The complimentary book incorporates more of the story behind Caku Art and the inspiration behind the artists work.
