Exosect Announces Company Re-branding
New corporate logo and website underline Exosect's global presence in non-insecticide crop protection market.
(PRWEB) October 10, 2007 -- Exosect, a leading provider of Intelligent Pest Management solutions based in Southampton, today unveiled its new corporate logo and website. The creation of the new visual identity, together with the new marketing communication materials, strengthens Exosect's position in the worldwide market for non-pesticide crop protection.
Managing Director of Exosect, Martin Brown explains, "As a company we felt it was time to mark the evolution that we had made from a purely R&D focussed company in 2001 to a product development and marketing company in 2007. We briefed Winchester based creative agency, 'Think Creative' to develop a complete re-branding programme for Exosect and we were impressed with their strategic awareness and their open way of collaborating with us to meet expectations."
Brown continues, "The agrochemical industry has had to move fast over the past decade to respond to consumer attitudes towards pesticide/insecticide use. The momentum is such that our products are fulfilling the requirements of the grower and the consumer to help reduce insecticide residues where possible. When Exosect was first launched, it focussed on field and lab work to obtain the necessary product registrations but we have grown to a level where the registrations are coming through regularly, and so we are now actively marketing our products within the crop protection industry. To do this effectively, it was necessary to look at our company's image and make improvements."
Philip Cuff at Think Creative comments, "We worked closely with Exosect's marketing team to support the repositioning of the business through an integrated marketing communications programme centred on the core benefits of the Exosect technology. The 'e' icon represents the initial letter of the company, product ranges and the 'entostat' powder technology, and the circles that made up the icon were applied to the new product brand logos and also used as graphic elements in the on and off-line media.
"The re-branding was carried through to the new website to reflect the fresh, innovative approach Exosect has taken to the creation of its new image. Channel marketing tools for distributors in Europe, USA, RSA and NZ were also rolled out over a six-month period and were received very well."
"This re-branding marks a very exciting phase within the company," comments Martin Brown. "Exosex CM, the first of our 'Active' mating disruption products, is now helping growers reduce insecticide residues in the UK, South Africa, New Zealand, the USA and is soon to be launched in Europe. We have a very exciting R&D pipeline and are very much looking forward to another period of expansion over the next 12 months."
