Jefferson County PVA Office Wins Back to Back International Webaward

The Office of the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator's website recently received international recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development.

Louisville, KY (PRWEB) October 10, 2007 -- The Office of the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator's website recently received international recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development. The PVA website, pvalouky.org, was awarded the Government Standard of Excellence 2007 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association.

In collaboration with website host, LeapFrog Interactive, www.leapfroginteractive.com, Tony Lindauer, PVA and his staff completely transformed the website into a first-class source for end-users to obtain Jefferson County property information.

"Refining and improving the site has been a true collaboration between the PVA and LeapFrog," said Lori Druen, Director of Client Services for LeapFrog Interactive. "We're pleased to have the level of excellence we believed the site demonstrated confirmed by the Web Marketing Association."

The Jefferson County PVA website provides a user-friendly way to access information regarding the responsibilities and services provided by the PVA office. Visitors to the website can download informative property assessment brochures, print applications for address changes and property exemptions, and view online property records. Recent enhancements to the website include the Tax Calendar for Jefferson County, which is the schedule the PVA office follows every year; Events Calendar, which informs property owners of important dates; and Neighborhoods, a list of web resources and historical information on a majority of neighborhoods in Jefferson County.

For professionals seeking advanced property search capabilities, the site provides subscription-based search tools that enable the user to access property characteristics, photos, sales history reports, and maps. This information is constantly updated and includes building detail, assessment history, school district, previous owner data and property sketches.

"My goal is to bring government to the people and make it as accessible as possible," stated Tony Lindauer, PVA. "It's very gratifying to my office that the Web Marketing Association has recognized our website as a useful tool for both real estate professionals and the community as a whole."
