This one-of-a-kind culinary event includes multiple daily cooking demonstrations and tastings, where guests can learn new kitchen techniques for when they return home. These demonstrations cover a range of topics which include Which Olive Oil Should I Use and Wine & Chocolate Pairings. Competitive culinary cook-offs allow guests to cheer on their favorite chefs and nightly receptions close out each day. Special speakers and guest chefs include Peter Schintler, Gordon Maybury, Arnaud Berthelier, Rich Rosendale, Joshua Wesson, Alessandro Stratta, Peter Timmins (Executive Chef at The Greenbrier), Michael Voltaggio (Hemisphere Chef de Cuisine at The Greenbrier) and Frederic Monti (Executive Pastry Chef at The Greenbrier). A special black-tie silent auction benefiting the Chef & Child Foundation, as well as A Night at the Oscars Reception and Dinner Gala, will take place on Saturday evening and will conclude the weekend.

The Greenbrier reopened on April 2nd after an extensive $50 million renovation project. The renovations encompass 63 updated guest rooms with new marble bathrooms that have soaking tubs and walk-in showers, updated décor under the direction of renowned designer Carleton Varney with patterned fabrics and pastel wallpapers, executive-style desks with larger workspaces, and new furniture. Renovations in all of the resort's 721 guest rooms include new bedding and linens, large plasma-screen televisions, and enhanced bathroom amenities.

An entirely new culinary experience will debut in July with the opening of Hemisphere, a new restaurant with a globally influenced tasting menu and 38°80, a unique cocktail lounge. The Greenbrier continues to offer over 50 recreational activities to its guests, including indoor and outdoor tennis, golf on three championship courses, tours of its former Cold War-era Congressional bunker on property, falconry, fishing, off-road driving, and use of the property's 40,000 square-foot spa.
