Celebrating the top 50 companies for African-American MBAs to work and top 50 under 50 African American MBA corporate executives on the move.

The goal of the event is to illuminate the true power of diversity by recognizing the men and women who have made their mark in their professions

In celebration of 10 years of service, P&L Publishing, publisher of DiversityMBA Magazine, will host its first Leadership Forum and Gala at the Wardman Park Marriott, in Washington, DC on Thursday, November 1, 2007. The inaugural event brings diversity experts and corporate leaders together for one full day of interactive best practice sessions, while providing a format for business building relationships.

Mr. Les Brown, renowned motivational speaker and author, will host the elaborate celebration to honor the Top 50 under 50 African-American MBA Corporate Executives on The Move. This year's honorees are a diverse group of professionals with a common demand for excellence. Among the Top 50 being honored are Keith Wyche (Pitney Bowes), Richard Williams (Verizon Wireless), Lawrence Smith (Disney Vacation Club) Laura Bartlett (Allstate Insurance), and Denise Russell Fleming (Sprint/Nextel) to name a few.

The Top 50 Companies for African-American MBAs to Work will also be recognized for their commitment to diversity, leadership and development of their minority employees. Marriott International will be honored as the #1 ranked company, along with the other top 50, for its long-standing commitment to global diversity over the past year.
