New Vacuum Sintering Furnace and Website Launched by the Furnace Source

A leading vacuum furnace company has introduced a new vacuum sintering furnace that is well-suited to sintering body armor, humvee armor and other high temperature applications.

Terryville, CT (PRWEB) October 11, 2007 -- "If you need an industrial furnace for high temperature applications such as sintering armor, then our new 2400 degree Centigrade vacuum furnace is something you should take a look at."

That's how Marshall Klimasewiski describes the new sintering furnace that has just been introduced by his company, The Furnace Source (www.thefurnacesource.com).

Sintering is a process in which objects are made from powder by heating the particles until they adhere to each other. Metallurgical sintering is usually done at extremely high temperatures.

According to Klimasewiski, the new vacuum furnace can reach temperatures of 2400 degrees Centigrade, making it ideal in processes needed to manufacture body armor, humvee armor and tank armor.

"In addition to armor-related work, this furnace can be used for many other high temperature applications," adds Klimasewiski.

"This furnace is in stock and located at our plant in Terryville, Connecticut," continues Klimasewiski.

Technical details for this vacuum furnace can be found on a new website (www.sinteringfurnace.com ) that the Furnace Source has launched specifically to promote this product.

"We are excited at the capabilities offered by this furnace and wanted to highlight it with its own website," he explained. In addition to the new 2400 degree Centigrade sintering furnaces, several other vacuum furnaces are also introduced on the new website.

Located on a 35,000 square foot facility in Terryville, Connecticut, The Furnace Source has full fabrication and electrical engineering capabilities and sells new, fully reconditioned, and used industrial furnaces.

"Our goal is to meet our client's exact specifications," says Klimasewiski.

"We also manufacture customized process equipment for the medical and pharmaceutical industries and work closely with our customers to provide contract research and development, product development, and process developments," he concludes.
