October 11 2007 -- JSP, a world leading supplier of engineered plastic foams, announces launch of a new website focusing on automotive applications (http://www.ARPROautomotive.com).
An animated crash test dummy serves as the site's interactive host and guide, and a swirling transparent car model reveals the parts made with ARPRO®, an important automotive engineering foam material.
ARPROautomotive.com provides new insights into the myriad applications of the company's core product, ARPRO® expanded polypropylene (EPP), and how its unique properties contribute to lighter vehicles, enhanced fuel mileage, improved passenger safety, environmental sustainability, as well as reduced parts and easier assembly.
Carl Moyer, JSP President & Chief Executive Officer, comments, "The new ARPROautomotive.com site reflects the company's commitment to work ever more closely with our customers in the automotive market, and provide them with information they can use in their work developing next generation vehicles."
"The new site is designed to be both informative and engaging," stated Paul Compton, JSP Executive Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer - Europe. "One of our missions is to provide our customers with a stream of new insights on how ARPRO® can help solve engineering problems, and to do it with some spark and style."
First used as an energy absorbing material for bumpers, ARPRO® is rapidly growing in applications such as seating, passenger and pedestrian systems, stowage
systems and dozens of other components in over 22 million cars and trucks built annually around the world. The new site shows galleries of how today's forward-thinking engineers are using the advantages of ARPRO® in their designs.
The site provides engineering tools, such as a library of technical data, outline of FEA computer analysis services, and a Design Guide to assist engineers in the use of the material.
Visitors to the site have access to direct contact with ARPRO® automotive engineers, may request samples and prototypes. JSP provides a range of technical support services for automotive engineers, designers, stylists and moulders for using ARPRO®.
The site was designed by AllWebCafe, an interactive agency and web design firm located in Philadelphia, PA, USA.
