Dailymotion provides worldwide audience to Next New Networks.

Dailymotion, the world's largest independent video sharing site, today announced a licensing deal that will bring content from Next New Networks, the leading producer of micro television networks over the Internet, to Dailymotion's site. Under terms of the agreement, original content from Next New Networks' current and future networks will be available to Dailymotion's audience worldwide. Dailymotion will, in turn, share advertising revenues generated by the premium content with Next New Networks.

The agreement includes a broad array of content programmed by Next New Networks, whose leadership includes former MTV Network executives Fred Seibert and Herb Scannell as well as new media veterans. The innovative network's features programs such as:

  •     Bleacher Bloggers, where the sport-fans become the stars
  •     Channel Frederator, the original online cartoon network

  •     Pulp Secret, devoted to comic book news and culture
  •     Bride-O-Rama, where the bride is the guide
  •     Metal Chik, the first online network for jewelry-making and trends

Following Dailymotion's strategy of aggregating content into channels by genre, videos provided by Next New Networks will be programmed by Dailymotion's creative managers to appear alongside content uploaded by Dailymotion's MotionMaker creative community. Combining professional along with user-generated content around users' areas of interest allows them to more easily discover, view and share the content they love.

"We thrilled to bring Next New Networks' innovative video networks to Dailymotion users around the world," said Mark Zaleski, executive chairman of Dailymotion. "We believe their proven ability to build an audience and commitment to supporting talented and creative content producers will benefit our entire user base, from casual watchers to MotionMaker contributors."

"With our shared commitment to finding, producing and showcasing top-tier Internet talent, Dailymotion is a perfect partner for Next New Networks," commented Herb Scannell, CEO and co-founder of Next New Networks.
