Turner Broadcasting Europe and Dailymotion Announce Agreement to Feature CNN, Adult Swim and Nuts Programming

Dailymotion's audience to enjoy cutting-edge news and entertainment

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 15, 2007 -- Dailymotion, the world's largest independent video sharing site, and Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) Europe today announced an agreement to make news, entertainment and animation programming available to audiences across Europe. The agreement marks Turner's choice of Dailymotion as a key partner in the wider distribution of its content across non-linear platforms and the continued distribution of Adult Swim outside of the US.

The deal covers content from Turner's leading global news network, CNN International, which will be featured on the new Dailymotion News Channel with hourly refreshes, as well as from Adult Swim, the edgy animation brand which will form a key part of Dailymotion's Funny Channel with clips from flagship programs such as Robot Chicken, Frisky Dingo and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. In addition, Dailymotion will feature clips from Nuts TV, the recently launched men's entertainment channel, produced in association with IPC Media.

Casey Harwood, SVP for digital media at TBS Europe, said, "We see a great future in harnessing the dynamism of Dailymotion to reach a new and exciting audience. Turner is constantly looking at new ways of distributing our content across popular new platforms and we're delighted to be entering what should be a great working relationship with Dailymotion."

"We're happy to bring Turner's original programming to Dailymotion's audience," said Mark Zaleski, executive chairman of Dailymotion. "We believe the addition of Turner's high quality programming will complement the creative contributions of our users."
