With this release customers now have the option to host the central iSCSI Boot Services that provide boot services to netBoot/i and winBoot/i clients on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, OpenSUSE, or OpenSolaris.

emBoot's SAN Boot Solution, netBoot/i and winBoot/i, provides a centrally managed iSCSI boot solution using standard Ethernet network adapters that allows customers to accelerate server deployment and repurposing, reduce lifecycle operating costs, reduce power and cooling requirements, improve system resiliency and availability and implement more robust disaster recovery solutions.
