Pia Cyrulnik, President of 'The Contemporary Couch", is the 2007 Pinnacle Award Winner

In a gala awards ceremony on Monday, October 1, 2007, the American Society of Furniture Designers selected Pia Cyrulnik as the winner of it's coveted Pinnacle Award.

Carlstadt, New Jersey (PRWEB) October 14, 2007 -- Pia Cyrulnik, president of 'The Contemporary Couch by Pia', a contemporary interior design showroom in Carlstadt, New Jersey, was selected as a 2007 Pinnacle award winner. At the fall High Point furniture show, at a dinner with the most talented designers in the country in attendance, Pia's 'Signature Collection' of custom area rugs was honored for "outstanding achievement in furniture and excellence in value."

Pia's showroom is a tribute to creative contemporary furniture. A true design environment where stylish furniture by todays top manufacturers is on display. Original art sculptures, paintings, custom glass and accessories surround the furniture. Custom bedrooms, dining rooms and entertainment centers are also on display. The rugs are the star, however.

Pia is a painter and an artist, as well as an interior designer and the custom area rugs have become her new palette. Sculptured to match the shape of the furniture, and woven in 100 percent wool, to match the colors and textures of the living room, they are truly unique.
