The Aegenis Group is proud to announce that Michael Dahn, Founder and Executive Vice President of The Aegenis Group, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA). This will be the second consecutive term that Mr. Dahn has served the group in this capacity.
"We are thrilled to welcome Mike Dahn back to the INMA Board of Directors," said Dr. Phyllis Schneck, Chairman of the Board of the INMA. "Mike's re-election shows that our nationwide InfraGard membership sees the value that he brings to InfraGard. Mike's creativity and energy will continue to be a tremendous asset to InfraGard as we grow our trusted community relationships between private sector experts and government for critical infrastructure protection."
Mr. Dahn has long been involved in a number of organizations seeking to increase awareness of information security issues. "Infrastructure protection is not just an esoteric objective, but a 'rubber meets the road' requirement for all organizations today," said Mr. Dahn. "Involvement in an organization such as InfraGard allows both private and public sector security practitioners to exchange practical experience with important data security issues. I am excited to be able to continue my service with the INMA."
InfraGard is an alliance whose mission is increasing the level of cooperation between the government and private sector in order to protect areas of critical infrastructure as noted in the NIPP (National Infrastructure Protection Plan). This is accomplished by identifying subject matter experts in the private sector and connecting them with public-sector and law enforcement personnel.
