Sewing enthusiasts can enjoy unprecedented access to expert sewing tips and tutorials through a new online social network. Now Sewing features "Behind the Seams," high-quality video programs (webisodes) featuring step-by-step instructions for sewers of all skill levels.
Sewing enthusiasts can sew along with the experts, featuring projects from pattern making to complex quilting. Creative experts, known as Sewlebrities, present their ideas and techniques for viewers to try at home. All webisodes are available at any time for no charge. Additional extended lessons are available at "Behind the Scenes" dealers, all listed at http://www.nowSewing.net.
Sewlebrities include your host Sara Boughner, Mattie Rhoades, Clare Conway, Susan Cleveland, Loralie Harris, Betty Cotton, Hope Yoder and many more. Registered users have the option to rate each video program. Programs can be sorted by rank, webisode name or chronologically.
The "Tips & Techniques" and "Inspiration & Ideas" sections of Now Sewing's website allow users to upload their own ideas. Members of the community can upload pictures and patterns to share. All ideas also have a "send to a friend" feature, further encouraging an interactive community. Members can ask questions and receive answers from the community about their individual interests.
Registration is simple and free for any sewing hobbyist or professional at http://www.nowsewing.net/index/sitemember-register-form.
