Water Conservation Toilets by Wasauna

Wasauna, a leading manufacturing of showers and bathtubs, introduces environmentally friendly living in the bathroom. Save thousands of gallons of water per year by remodeling your bathroom with a Wasauna dual-flush toilet.

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 16, 2007 -- Wasauna announced today the release of the Napola Toilet, a dual flush toilet engineered to provide significant water savings in commercial and residential settings. The Napola takes advantage of a direct-fed jet flush that maximizes water flow to allow for extremely low water usage flushes without risk of clogging. Eco-friendly toilets are ideal for American consumers who are interested in lessening the environmental impact of their day-to-day lives. Wasauna's dual flush toilets, including the Napola, are available in a variety of contemporary and classic styles.

"Most Americans care deeply about the environment but are often unaware of the eco-friendly options they have. Our dual flush toilets have been passionately embraced by our customer base. We are firm believers that low environmental footprint products are the way of the future, so Wasauna is proud to offer the lowest water usage toilet on the market." says David Petersen, president of Wasauna.

The Napola's low flush uses 70% less water than standard low flush toilets. The high volume flush uses 1.6 gallons, for disposal of excess waste in case the low flush is insufficient. The Napola also features a noiseless slow-close lid. A typical toilet flush uses between 1.6 and 5 gallons of water, while operation of the Napola toilet uses only 0.5 gallons per low flush. The average American flushes a toilet 8 times per day, meaning that a household of four will save up to 45,000 gallons of water per year. If every American bathroom was remodeled with a Napola Toilet, the United States would save approximately 5 trillion gallons of water per year. At an average cost of $0.002 per gallon, this would represent savings of $90 per year per household and a $10 billion savings for the country as a whole. Additionally, many municiaplities around the country, (such as Tempe, Arizona and Monterey, California) are offering $75-$300 refunds to homeowners who install eco-friendly toilets.
