Everest Poker today announced the winners of the latest in the online poker room's ongoing series of Texas Hold 'em Poker tournaments featuring a guaranteed prize of $100,000. The weekly event features a direct buy-in of $100+9 and satellites for interested players that start at $11+1.
"The most recent event featured the largest number of participants so far! 975 players from around the world joined in," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "Players from Europe, Asia, and South America all participated in this weekly event."
The big winners from the most recent $100,000 poker event are as follows: First place and $20,000 went to the Joker1203, a German player, and Switzerland's OPUS_ONE claming second and $12,000. Rounding out the top three was gangstermars from France, who walked away from the final table with $9,000. The other players at the final table were as follows: m@t@ciclista (Italy) $7,000; Penny.wise (Austria) $5,000; GeesStudie (Netherlands) $3,750; Kiki1959 (Germany) $2,750; billyjones27 (France) $1,750; adrianino (Italy) $1,500; crimsonglory (France) $1250.
