Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 18, 2007 -- The International Concierge and Errand Association (ICEA) held their 6th annual conference last week in San Diego. ICEA is an International Association that supports over 600 concierge businesses from 21 countries around the world. Concierge business owners came from around the world to talk about industry issues including ethics, legal issues and technology.
"We've seen a 110% increase in membership over the last two years," says ICEA Chairman of the Board, Katharine Giovanni. "In fact, ICEA has added over 280 new members this year alone. Though our members have regular monthly chat sessions, the conference provides our members with a chance to meet each other and delve into the issues unique to our industry," she adds.
The attendees had a chance to enjoy the tastes of San Diego during their Dine Around at seven local restaurants who graciously sponsored the evening's meals, including Bandar, Dussini's, Visions, Anthony's Fish Grotto, Lamont Street Grill, Soleil@K, and Hard Rock Cafe. Great food and great conversation were the highlights of the evening and as one attendee stated, "To sum up the experience: Divine!"
ICEA is the leading global community for concierge and errand business professionals, serving as the primary resource and active advocate for members by providing essential resources, continuing education, networking opportunities, and other professional endeavors.
