Java User Group Switzerland (JUGS) Presents Event on Rich Internet Applications in Zürich

The event will focus on AJAX and RIA technologies and their benefits in a business context. Main speakers are Björn Müller and Ryan Stewart.

Java User Group Switzerland (JUGS) is presenting an event on Rich Internet Applications and AJAX on November 14, 2007 at the Technopark in Zurich. The event will focus on the benefits of RIA for business applications.

Björn Müller, founder of Casabac and well-known speaker at various developer conferences, will talk about using AJAX.

Ryan Stewart, Adobe evangelist and widely read blogger, will talk about the various technologies within the RIA landscape and show how they fit into a business context.

Canoo's CTO, Bruno Schäffer, will start the event with an introductory keynote: "We believe this event will help managers and developers find out about the benefits and opportunities of RIA technologies. We have asked the speakers to focus on a corporate setup and show where the use of RIA technologies will improve the user experience for web applications, as well as increasing the return on investment."
