Chris Boggs Joins Brulant's Search Engine Optimization Team

Boggs will assume strategic leadership and tactical responsibility for the team, helping to further integrate organic search into Brulant's other core service offerings. Boggs has recently relocated from the East Coast to be based at Brulant's headquarters in Cleveland. The SEO team is part of Brulant's search marketing practice, eMergent Marketing.

Boggs will play an instrumental role in guiding the future growth of Brulant's highly successful SEO team. Other key hires throughout the year have truly positioned Brulant as a dominant force in the industry. Current search engine optimization clients include Marriott, Moen, Citizens Bank, Nationwide Insurance and Helzberg Diamonds, among others.

Boggs brings over 8 years of search industry experience to his role. He was previously a Search Strategist for Avenue A | Razorfish in their Philadelphia office and was responsible for SEO strategy development across multiple teams. Prior to that, he was Director of Online marketing with the G3 Group in Maryland.

Boggs has had extensive experience in the Paid Search marketing specialty along with organic optimization, having been a certified Google™ AdWords™ Professional, a Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador, and an early participant in the MSN AdCenter release in 2005.

He speaks regularly at the Search Engine Strategies and other industry Conferences, and acts as a Moderator for the Search Engine Watch Forums (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/) in addition to penning columns there. Boggs has been a member of the Board of Directors of SEMPO, the Search Engine Marketing Professional's Organization, since 2006, and currently serves as Secretary.
