November Workshops@Adorama highlights include:

  • Managing Your Web Site: Seven Secret Factors for Search Engine Optimization, on November 13 with Koren Reyes, showing you tips including how to improve your web site's Google visibility and build traffic.
  • The Business of Photography: Marketing with the Internet, on November 29 where Louisa Curtis will discuss how to make the most of your marketing opportunities.
  • Overcoming Fear of Flash: Lighting Boot Camp with Arlene Collins on November 4 and 11, where you'll learn how to master your on-camera strobe in the most challenging lighting situations.
  • Adobe Photoshop: Understanding Layers & Masks with Photoshop guru Jean Miele on November 18.
  • Digital Food Photography, with Lou Manna, back by popular demand, on Nov. 18

First Digital Video Workshop
Workshops@Adorama is expanding its reach to include digital video and digital video editing workshops, and the first one, Kicking Down the Doors: Using Adobe After Effects CS3 and Time Lapse Animation, with digital video editor/still photographer/director of photography Michael Vitti, will be a day-long workshop on Sunday, November 18.

Special Seminars

  • Digital Infrared Photography, sponsored by Adorama and Fujifilm and taught by Jean Miele and Brandon Remler on November 6. Participants will get a sneak peek at the Fujifilm FinePix IS-1 and FinePix IS-Pro digital infrared cameras.
  • Digital SLR seminar co-sponsored by Adorama and Nikon. Nikon's product experts will show owners and potential owners of Nikon D40 and D40X DSLRs how to get the most out of their cameras in a choice of either morning or afternoon 2-hour sessions on November 11.
