Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) October 20, 2007 -- Toyota Motor Europe (TME) today inaugurated its new parts centre in Krupka, the Czech Republic, as announced today on its media website http://www.toyota-media.com/euen/. The new facility, which represents an investment of %u20AC13.3 million, will enhance the delivery of service parts and accessories to some 250 Toyota and Lexus retailers in the Czech Republic and Eastern Germany. TME has made significant efforts to minimise the environmental impact of the depot's construction by implementing strict energy conservation measures, such as the recuperation of rainwater for waste facilities. Toyota is aiming to ensure all its European facilities -- design, production, logistics, parts and sales and marketing -- meet ISO 14001 by 2010 as part of Toyota's commitment to reducing the environmental impact of every aspect of its products' lifecycle.

According to the press release published on http://www.toyota-media.com/euen/ TPCCZ represents the latest Toyota investment in the Czech Republic joining the National Marketing and Sales Company (Toyota Motor Czech) in Prague and, most significantly, the vehicle manufacturing plant, Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech (TPCA), in Kolin. This joint venture with PSA Peugeot opened in 2005, employs around 3,000 people and has an annual production capacity of 300,000 units - 100,000 of which are Toyota AYGOs.
