The redesign of ESM's website began early in 2007 with an extensive survey to determine clients' concerns about the higher education marketing industry, the criteria school's use to hire a student marketing company and what features would be most beneficial to help their school succeed. It was concluded that the new website must be quick and easy to use, yet provide actionable information, including access to industry relevant articles and marketing resources that would answer questions and provide best practices in education marketing.

The new student marketing site also allows clients to submit comments and questions to the Client Services team. The News link in the Resources section houses continually updated education articles. ESM is also expected to add an Ask the Expert section to the site by early 2008 that will allow users to post questions about higher education marketing and other industry-related topics.
