Founder of Le Grand David Attracts International Magic Icons for Book Signing at NYC Magic Shop

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 21, 2007 -- Cesareo Pelaez, founding director of the Le Grand David Spectacular Magic Company and Guinness World Record holder, is being honored for his contributions to the world of conjuring at Fantasma Magic (www.fantasmamagic.com).
Magic icons from around the world are expected to attend the event at the magic shop and museum in New York City, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 7 p.m. Roger Dreyer, CEO of Fantasma Magic, said a surprise evening is being planned to highlight one of magicdom's most remarkable figures. Pelaez, David Bull and Avrom Karl Surath will also be autographing copies of Surath's recently published biography of Pelaez, "There Will Be Wonderful Surprises." The 228-page volume traces Pelaez's singular odyssey from his childhood in theatre in his native Cuba; through his emigration to America; and to the founding and present day of the Le Grand David Spectacular Magic Company.
Spectators will also have an opportunity to see a unique exhibit of finely crafted magic posters and richly ornamented illusions and artifacts created by the talented artisans of the Le Grand David Spectacular Magic Company on display at the Fantasma Magic showroom through October 24, 2007.
