Chicago Sports Fans Can Support Breast Cancer with's 'Tickets for Hope' Program

As part of their new "Tickets for Hope" program, event-goers who buy tickets online through will also move the world closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.

Dan Nichols, President of ( has taken a stand against breast cancer by launching a program that will donate five percent of all ticket sales to the 'Susan G Komen for the Cure' foundation.

The company has always played an active role in charitable donations since its launch 15 years ago, but for Nichols and the staff of, the race to find a cure for breast cancer is personal.

"Several of our employees have family members and friends who have had breast cancer. Some are survivors, and some lost their fight. I think we all agree that the women in all our lives are strong, caring and have given us so much. We feel it is time that we give back. Our goals are to donate money for research for the cure, and to help get the word out to the community about breast cancer awareness and early detection," says Nichols.

While many companies have initiated campaigns to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer this month during breast cancer awareness month, Nichols decided that would play a larger role in the fight. Though breast cancer awareness month ends at the close of October, will continue to donate five percent of all sales to the foundation for an entire year.

"Our goal is to donate a significant amount of money to fund breast cancer research by October 2008. We are calling out to all Chicago area residents to join us in fighting for this cause by choosing to purchase their event tickets through," says Nichols.
