San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 24, 2007
Elanex, Inc. today announces the opening of its second office in Japan, in Fukuoka, the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture and the largest city in Kyushu.
The new office will expand Elanex's ability to work with Japanese companies and non-Japanese companies in Japan, and will extend the range of language combinations provided to Japan-based clients to include Japanese to and from all major Asian languages (and others as needed).
Office head Matthias Nyitrai commented "Fukuoka is a natural choice for a second Japanese office for Elanex. Fukuoka is one of Japan's largest cities, and with its proximity to Asia (Fukuoka is closer to Shanghai than to Tokyo), it is increasingly becoming Japan's 'gateway to Asia'. With Elanex's recent acquisition of Reports From China we are excited about the possibilities for Chinese/Japanese clients and projects."
"Elanex has already identified several companies, both Japanese and foreign, with offices in Fukuoka, that are desperate for high quality translation services above what the freelance market can offer," said Robert Gumley, Elanex General Manager for Japan, "and with our new office we will be able to provide even more personalized service to these clients. In addition, we look forward to building relationships with companies local to the region. Invest Fukuoka and JETRO have already been very helpful in supporting Elanex as we set up in Fukuoka, and we are very excited about the business opportunities they are helping us discover."
