Pizza Franchisee Uses Email Marketing to Double Sales

Summer is typically a slow time in the restaurant business. Mike Bahoora, owner of a Papa Romanos Pizza franchise in Bloomfield Township, MI thought he would see if he could do something about that. "I decided to send some great coupons and promotions to the members of my new email club to drive some sales," said Mike. "I doubled my luncheon business this summer because of email marketing. The increased sales were well beyond my expectations."

The increased sales were well beyond my expectations."

Mike continues, "In late June my email club members received a special on Bambino Pizzas along with three other coupons. Over the first two weeks of July I sold over 300 Bambinos -- three times my normal volume."

Mike has also doubled his sales of subs this summer. Mike adds, "Email marketing allows me to send coupons and promotions to my existing customers. My redemption rates are extremely high and customers also forward the coupons to friends and co-workers."
