Iwatsu Voice Networks Releases New Telephone System Omega-Phone 924 Targets Small Business with Low Price, Feature Rich Platform

Iwatsu Voice Networks has released the Omega-Phone 924 business telephone system. The latest addition to the Iwatsu line of business communication products is directed at businesses that require a phone system with 4-24 stations. The new small end system includes an impressive set of features and functionalities such as voicemail, automated attendant, fax detection and automatic routing of voicemail messages to a users email inbox.

Irving, TX (PRWEB) October 25, 2007 -- Iwatsu Voice Networks (IVN) announced the release of the Omega-Phone 924 business telephone system. This latest addition to Iwatsu's line of communication products is directed at businesses that require less than 20 telephones.

The Omega-Phone 924 digital key system targets small businesses who want a feature rich system at a low price point. Unlike the other communication solutions that comprise the Iwatsu product line, the Omega-Phone 924 is an OEM product. This will allow Iwatsu to target smaller businesses that don't have the budget to invest in robust "growth oriented" systems. In order to ensure the new phone system matches Iwatsu's established reliability standards, Omega-Phone 924 components will be held to the same rigorous QC standards as our core communications platform, the Iwatsu Enterprise Communications Server (ECS).

Despite the lower sticker price, the 924 includes a full set of features and functionality tailored for small business. Cues were taken from Iwatsu's industry leading Unified Communications platform, and the most popular features for small businesses were incorporated into the Omega-Phone 924. These include productivity enhancing features such as automated attendant to greet and direct incoming callers, automatic routing of voicemail messages to a users email inbox, and fax detection allowing incoming faxes to be routed directly to a fax machine without the need of a dedicated phone number.

"The technology that's available today is staggering," explains product manager Michael Marchioni, "but in many cases that technology is only available at a significant premium, or in a size that far exceeds a small business budget. The Omega-Phone 924 packages this technology into a small, affordable system."

The Omega-Voice 924 system has a base configuration of three lines by eight digital extensions and can expand to nine lines by twenty-four digital extensions with optional 2.4GHz wireless telephones. Iwatsu has begun shipping to their distributor channel in October.
