Young Readers Rally Around New Mantra, Anything's Fossible!
Mother/daughter team writes new middle grade novel that has young readers, parents, and teachers singing its praises. Released just in time for the holidays, "The Fossibles-Bursting from Extinction to Distinction" is storytelling at its best and book two in the series is due out in March 2008.

The Fossibles were developed as positive role models for kids by Rancourt, their creator, who says, "The Fossibles are cool and exemplify good values for today's kids, including: eating healthy; exercising; no bullying; getting a solid education; celebrating personal uniqueness and much, much more. Plus, they're funny. After all, it's not easy to be super-sized in a world made for humans."
The official Fossibles website, www.thefossibles.com, contains a 3-minute CGI trailer that shows the Fossibles in action. In early, 2008, the Fossibles will also appear on a new website being launched by Porchlight Entertainment of Los Angeles, CA, the company behind such animation hits as Jay Jay the Jet Plane, FARMkids, and others. In addition to website exposure, Chasem2 offers live Fossibles' shows for schools, libraries, and private events with Rancourt playing Piper La Rue, an eccentric storyteller and secret friend of the Fossibles.
In response to strong demand from fans, the second book in the Fossibles series, "Bolt From the Blue Mission," will be released in March, 2008. According to Claudia Gauches, "Heather and I each have real life parenting experiences that form the backdrop to much of the story. We want kids to believe in themselves and to know that, in life, anything's fossible!"
